Kansus Connellan has worked with children and families in the High Level and surrounding area for over 30 years. Kansus has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and lives by the motto, “But by the grace of God go I”. She believes that each of us has a responsibility to come alongside one another with love and compassion to support one another in reaching our full potential. She considers it a privilege to work with children and families and is committed to approaching everyone from a strength-based solution focused perspective. 

 

Kansus holds a Master of Social Work, (M.S.W) from the University of Calgary. Kansus has been a registered social worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) for over 25 years. She is a provisionally registered clinical social worker (RCSW).

 

Sacred Hope counsellor, Kansus Connellan's primary employment is with FVSD as a Mental Health Therapist. To maintain appropriate professional boundaries and to ensure effective mitigation of actual or perceived conflict of interest all students within FVSD, and parents of students receiving counselling services from Kansus, are not eligible for service with Sacred Hope Counselling.
